The University of Alabama offers students an Early Medical School Acceptance Program that is a full 8-year program of study. Students complete undergrad studies at UM, then enter the Miller School of Medicine to earn their medical degree. The University of Miami's Medical Scholars Program allows students to complete the combined BS-MD program in 7 or 8 years. in 2 years and complete the medical program in 4 years at Howard's medical school. Howard University in the District of Columbia offers high school graduates a 6-year BS-MD program. Drexel's College of Medicine also partners with Villanova and Lehigh University to provide students with BS-MD programs. Once students complete their undergraduate program, they continue their studies at Drexel's College of Medicine, which is one of the largest private medical schools in the U.S. The BS-MD program at Drexel University in Pennsylvania only accepts applicants who have been ranked in the top 10 percent of their high school graduating class and have achieved a minimum grade point average of 3.5. The Honors Program in Medical Education at Northwestern University partners with the Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois to provide a 7-year accelerated course of study for high school graduates dedicated to a career in medicine.
